I’m Seth

— a cat lover, coffee enthusiast, cheeseburger connoisseur, Before Sunrise (1995) adorer, and a gardener who likes growing both plants and projects.

I’m a Homo sapiens born and raised in Prey Veng, a Cambodian province where you can find the country’s longest bridge, beautiful sunset spots, endless emerald paddy fields, and most importantly, warmhearted people.

I’ve been a curious soul at heart, and that has made my journey as a CS major somewhat exploratory and rewarding. My focus centers around building clean, accessible software to help people. More than ever, I’m also taking time to choose what to work on next, and I hope to pick well.

I care about how things look and how they work — and I’m most interested in the space where those two stop being separate concerns. Very much so, I love the process of turning code and data into something intuitive and meaningful.

a. design & development

My approach to every project starts by first asking what it needs to communicate and whom it’s for. From there I place a high value on detail, subtle interaction, and motion because I believe that even micro ones are what truly elevate a product.

I care deeply about accessibility, not as a checklist but as a form of empathy: building things that work for everyone, on every device, and in every context. And I’m particular, perhaps overly so, about the gap between a good idea and a good implementation. Therefore, bridging that exact divide is where most of my real work happens.

b. data & analysis

I also work with data to uncover patterns that drive key strategic decisions. I’m drawn to the moment when a messy dataset becomes a clear picture, or when a visualization helps someone articulate something they couldn’t quite see before. I think of this as the other side of the same coin: both design and data are fundamentally about communication, just through different materials.
